And here's what's going on in 'Darksiders II?s neck of the woods ...

There?s always something going on in gaming communities, but Darksiders II?has a few neat things happening that I think it?s worth you knowing about.

First off, they?ve announced the game?s actual release date ? kind of a big deal, right? Darksiders II?will be available June 26 in North America, Europe and Australia, with the UK having to wait until June 29 (sorry, Brits!).

The Darksiders?crew have also revealed the official cover art for the game novel they recently announced, ?The Abomination Vault.? The book will ship this May, so you have plenty of time to finish before getting the game.

The Darksiders?community has also partnered with Astro Gaming to be the official headset provider for the game. Astro is now able to craft custom tags for A40 headsets that utilize the key art from Darksiders II, and future custom items are on the way. You can see the community manager?s custom set above. Are they not the most awesome things? I?m jealous, to be honest.

Finally, the crew was able to announce the release date of a truly epic statue of Samael ? April 15, 2012. Take a look at it:
