Chef Kristian Leuzzi, owner of Kris (1100 Federal Street), has designed a four-course menu to celebrate the Jersey tomato. The menu is $24 together, but diners can also go a-la-carte for $6 per dishes such as:
>>>Salt Cod and Jersey Tomato Carppaccio with Pickled Red Onion
>>>Jersey Tomato Bruchetta with Pan Seared Dry Scallop
>>>Baked Rigatoni featuring Jersey Tomato, Scamorza, Local Zucchini and Fresh Basil
>>>Chicken Cutlet Milanese with Lemon Aioli, Jersey Tomato Salad, Dandelion Greens
Fan of craft beers as well? Why not add Leuzzi?s own Italian Microbrew Tenute Collesi Imper Ale Rossa for $12? It?s ?a full-bodied yet pleasantly sweet (8% ABV) Belgian-style red ale with intense spicy aromas of caramel and hazelnuts.? Mmm.
Kris is open for dinner seven nights a week and for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Learn more about the restaurant by visiting its website.
