Convergys looking to fill 150 full-time jobs in Omaha

Convergys Corp. has been one of the most active employers in the Omaha metropolitan area in recent months.

Convergys, which provides customer service and sales for major companies, including 26 firms included in Fortune Magazine?s top 50, is now looking to fill 150 full-time customer service jobs at the company?s Omaha call center.

Those jobs are in addition to 75 positions added in April and 120 in May.

The Cincinnati-based company said people can apply at the company?s Omaha office, 2121 N. 117th St., on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. or online at www.convergys.com/careers.

The jobs include training, competitive wages, performance incentives and benefits, including tuition reimbursement, medical and dental insurance and 401(k) options, the company said.

The growth at the company?s Omaha office has been predicated by the addition of services for a financial services client and a health care client, said Jackie McKenna, a Convergys spokeswoman. She declined to disclose the names of the companies.
