Business To Business Marketing: Building a Business Using ...

Business online is tough. I know because I have been there and know how hard it is to get your message across in advertising, when you write and when you are trying to sell folks when they visit your website, blog or page. An answer to this is by building your business through attraction marketing and learning to work network connections in personal communities online.

Attraction marketing is a method of learning to attract people to your business by projecting a clear message about yourself and your business. Before I learned how to do this, marketing online was difficult for me because I tried to "sell" all of my prospects before they got to truly learn about me and my business to the point they were prepared to do business with me. Attraction marketing is what you see touted as the Web 2.0 technology way of doing business by building social networking interactions with other people online.

The application of the attraction marketing to internet marketing should be obvious. The best system I've seen by far on the is the Magnetic Sponsoring system created by Mike Dillard. His methods are creating a whole new group of savvy internet marketers who are making trends in friend to friend business building techniques.

The relation of attraction marketing to social networking is that by building a list of people who are drawn to your message, you do this by the use of personal communities online. Sites such as Myspace, Facebook, online forums, and blog sites become tools to make social networking interactions that lead to people seeking more information and communication with you about your business.

In a sense, the contacts you make here create a personal community for your business. As with any community, communication must be a two way street to make it work. Feedback tools such as posts from blog readers, comments on social network pages and discussion among community members serve to make the community stronger. You should also send out information regularly to your members that they find useful to keep them coming back to visit.

Is this advertising? Yes but in a different sense. Your goal is to attract people and to do that you have to send a clear message about you and your business. One of your goals should be to entice people to get on your email lists where you can continue sending them info on things that interest them and solution-type products from time to time that your business offers. This is relationship building that will encourage solid friend to friend business building for you. It's having a whole community of volunteers spreading the message that you put out for your business.
