BOISE, Idaho (AP) - A Montana native was picked as president of MDU Resources Group's utility group after previously leading the company's units in Idaho, Oregon and Washington state.
K. Frank Morehouse, originally from Havre, Mont., was named to the post Friday, to replace David L. Goodin.
Earlier this month, Goodin was elevated to be president and chief executive of the 88-year-old Bismarck, N.D.-based company.
MDU counts among its subsidiaries Idaho's Intermountain Gas Co., Montana-Dakota Utilities Co., Great Plains Natural Gas Co. and Cascade Natural Gas Corp. in Oregon and Washington.
Scott Madison will succeed Morehouse Jan. 4 as vice president and general manager of Intermountain Gas and Cascade Natural Gas.
Madison is a native of Mud Lake, Idaho, and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Idaho.
